Who we are
SXB (Suppliers eXchange Buyers) is operated by Travel to Business, Montpellier, France, which is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy request, write to alberto@traveltobusiness.com.
What we collect
When you contact us by email: your name, email address and message. When you apply as a supplier or hosted buyer: full name, business email, role, company, website, business category, destination and, optionally, the name and company of a buyer you nominate. When you visit the site: technical data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting and font providers to display the page.
Why we use it
To review applications, organise SXB events, connect suppliers and buyers, and answer your enquiries. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract and our legitimate interest in running the business club.
Nominated buyers
If a supplier nominates you, we receive your name and company from them. We use them only to invite you to SXB and delete them on request.
Service providers
Airtable (applications and contacts), Lovable (website hosting) and Google Fonts (typefaces). Some may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Applicants, participants and nominated buyers: up to 3 years after the last contact with us; each new interaction restarts this period. Invoicing data: 10 years, as required by French law.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use or request a copy by writing to alberto@traveltobusiness.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
Our hosting provider sets two technical cookies needed to run the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
